Why refinish your furniture?
Here are just some of the reasons why our clients choose to have their furnishings refinished at The Restoration Studio LLC
Give your furniture a refreshingly new look by changing the color !
Refinish and preserve a family heirloom back to it's original condition !
This Mahogany server was our client mothers. Her mother acquired it new when she was married, so it had tremendous sentimental value.
We reveneered all the feet, stripped the worn faded finish and refinished back to its original color so it looked similar to when her mom purchased it new.
Save a quality piece that perhaps had a tough life!
This Mahogany china was once very good quality furniture. Far better than what you’d buy today. Unfortunately, It was painted and badly peeling destined for the curb.
We repaired the broken crown, stripped the paint and refinished it back to original condition. We sent it back good as new for a client that knew it was worth saving!
Refinishing it for the Kids !
This Mahogany dresser isn’t necessarily the look that much of the younger generation wants right now, but perhaps you owned it since you were a child and you want to pass it on? You could make it something your child wants, and they can pass it on to their children.
We refinished this dresser in a custom blue denim stain for a clients daughter who was heading off to college. The daughter picked out the color and the look she wanted for her college dorm room, and The Restoration Studio made it happen.
Refinish something vintage, antique or just unique !
This vintage walnut radio cabinet belonged to a client who wanted to display it in his home. It showed it’s age though, and had a lot of veneer issues. Not exactly the look he wanted to display.
We repaired the veneer and refinished the cabinet back to what it looked like when it originally left the makers shop. Now worthy of display, the radio was installed and it will be around for many generations.
Match a new piece to your existing furniture !
Our clients really liked this oak reproduction Hoosier cabinet, so they purchased it even knowing it didn’t match their kitchen set. They loved the look, just not the color.
Using a leaf from their table as a color match, we refinished the oak Hoosier to perfectly match their Pine kitchen set. Once refinished, it looked as though it always belonged with the set.
